Hazrat Shahidullah Faridi (R.A.) was in Chishti Sabria Sufl order. Born in 1915, he became the murid (pupil) of Hazrat Syed Muhammed Zauqi Shah (R.A.); the association which lasted for about fourteen years. Hazrat Shahidullah Faridi (R.A.) was forty years old when the responsibilities of spiritual succession were entrusted to him. He remained a resident of Karachi for about thirty years until his passing away in 1978.

Hazrat Shahidullah Faridi (R.A.) is also known for his earlier works, “The Moral Message of God and His Prophet,” “Everyday Practice in Islam,” and “Inner Aspects of Faith.”

The present work is a collection of malfuzat, letters and writings of Hazrat Shahidullah Faridi (RA). As the title of the book shows, the book contents highlight the spiritual side of the religion. The material is easy to read and can be understood by anybody interested in spirituality of the religion.
